• Account data: email address, name, sign-in details (passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Order content: recipient name, sender name, relationship, occasion, personal message, song title, language and music preferences.
• Photos uploaded for an animated video in partner shops.
• Generated songs, cover images and videos.
• Payment records: package, amount, currency, status and provider reference. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.
• Gift Card records: balance and usage history, a one-way fingerprint of the code and an encrypted copy, and the buyer's email if provided.
• Shop staff accounts and the sales they record.
• Technical and security data: IP address and browser information processed by our hosting and security providers, error logs, and records of your Terms acceptance and cookie choices.

• Providing the song, Gift Card, account and shop services you request (performance of a contract).
• Payments, accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
• Security, fraud and abuse prevention, such as rate limits and blocking misused Gift Cards (legitimate interests).
• Optional analytics or marketing technologies, only if you allow them in Cookie Settings (consent). None are active at present.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your messages, photos or songs for marketing unrelated to your order.

We share data only with service providers that help us run GiftAudio, under their contractual obligations:

• Database, sign-in and file storage (Supabase).
• Website hosting, delivery and security (our hosting provider and Cloudflare).
• AI music generation (reAPI) and AI video generation (Vidu), which receive the order details or photo needed to create your media.
• Video processing server (Contabo).
• Font delivery (Google Fonts), which receives your IP address when the page loads fonts.
• Payment providers, when online payments are enabled.
• Partner shops, for orders placed in their shop.

• Online guest songs (paid directly or with a Gift Card) and their media: 72 hours from the order.
• Songs and media created in partner shops: 48 hours.
• Songs created in a personal account: 7 days.
• Account data: while the account exists, or until you ask us to delete it.
• Financial, accounting, security and other legally required records, including Gift Card and payment records: only as long as required by applicable law or legitimate legal necessity.
• Consent and Terms acceptance records: as long as needed to demonstrate them.

Depending on the applicable law, you have the right to:

• access your personal data and obtain a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• have data deleted;
• restrict processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing (cookie choices can be changed in Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page).

You may also lodge a complaint with the Albanian Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection, or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.

We use access controls, private file storage and time-limited links. Gift Card codes are never stored in readable form.
